Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ½ lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- ½ cup orange marmalade (or apricot preserves)
- ⅓ cup BBQ sauce (your favorite)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional)
- Optional garnishes: green onions, sesame seeds, red chili flakes

- In a bowl, whisk together orange marmalade, BBQ sauce, soy sauce, and cornstarch (if using).
- Pour the sauce into the skillet. Stir to coat the chicken and let it simmer for 5–7 minutes until thick and sticky.
- Serve over rice or noodles. Garnish with green onions, sesame seeds, or chili flakes if desired.
Notes
- Use apricot preserves for a twist on the classic flavor.
- For a spicy kick, add a spoonful of Sriracha or chili garlic sauce to the sauce mixture.
- This recipe works great with tofu, shrimp, or even frozen chicken nuggets.
