Description

These Easter Bunny Button Cookies are not only adorable but also easy to make, perfect for celebrating spring and Easter!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate buttons (or similar candies)
  • Decorative icing for decoration


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Press a chocolate button in the center of each cookie.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges start to golden.
  10. Let cool before decorating with icing.
