Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cube the French bread and place it in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
- Pour the egg mixture over the bread cubes, pressing down lightly to soak.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is set.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, substitute half of the milk with cream.
- Top with syrup or powdered sugar before serving.
