- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 package puff pastry sheets
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, combine the shrimp, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into squares.
- Place a spoonful of the shrimp mixture in the center of each square.
- Fold the pastry over and seal the edges with a fork.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add a dash of hot sauce to the filling.
- These puffs can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
