- 2 large potatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked turkey bacon, chopped
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Grate the potatoes and soak them in water for 10 minutes, then drain and pat dry.
- In a bowl, mix the grated potatoes with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Form the potato mixture into small nests on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and crispy.
- While the nests are baking, mix the cheddar cheese, turkey bacon, and green onions in a bowl.
- Once the nests are done, fill each with the cheese mixture and return to the oven for an additional 10 minutes.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding some herbs to the potato mixture.
- You can substitute turkey bacon with regular bacon if preferred.
