- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1 small red onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, mash the avocados with a fork until smooth.
- Add lime juice, red onion, garlic, jalapeño, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Fold in chopped cilantro.
- Serve immediately with chips or as a spread.
Notes
- For more heat, leave some seeds in the jalapeño.
- This dip is best served fresh but can be stored in the fridge.
