Description

A delicious and indulgent pasta dish perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 large jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo shells according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add shrimp and cook until pink.
  4. In a bowl, mix cooked shrimp, ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, red pepper flakes, and parsley. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Stuff the jumbo shells with the shrimp mixture.
  6. Spread marinara sauce in the bottom of a baking dish and arrange stuffed shells on top.
  7. Top with remaining marinara sauce and sprinkle with additional mozzarella cheese.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until heated through and cheese is bubbly.

Notes

  • For added flavor, use fresh herbs.
  • Can substitute crab for shrimp if desired.
