A delicious and creamy homemade coleslaw inspired by KFC’s famous recipe.
Ingredients

- 1 medium green cabbage, shredded
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage and carrots.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sugar, buttermilk, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss until well coated.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to let the flavors meld.
Notes
- For added crunch, you can mix in some chopped celery.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar based on your taste.
