- 1 pound mushrooms
- 4 strips turkey bacon
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- Add olive oil to the skillet and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add mushrooms and cook until golden brown.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
- Crumble the turkey bacon and add to the mushroom mixture.
- Season with salt and pepper, and stir until evenly mixed.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a lower fat version, you can use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
