Ingredients

  • 1 large onion, finely sliced
  • 3 green chilies, slit
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon white pepper powder
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1 cup cream
  • 2 tablespoons fresh coriander, chopped


Instructions

  1. Heat ghee or oil in a karahi and sauté the onions until golden brown.
  2. Add the garlic, ginger, and green chilies, and cook until fragrant.
  3. Add the chicken pieces and cook until they are golden brown all over.
  4. Stir in the cumin seeds, coriander powder, and white pepper powder, cooking for another minute.
  5. Lower the heat and add yogurt, mixing well until fully incorporated.
  6. Allow the chicken to simmer until cooked through and tender.
  7. Stir in the cream and let it simmer for a few more minutes.
  8. Garnish with fresh coriander before serving.
