- 3 cups cotton candy, torn into pieces
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the milk and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Gently fold in the cotton candy pieces.
- Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For a more vibrant color, add a few drops of food coloring to the batter.
- Use sugar-free cotton candy if preferred.
