Description

These Classic Peach Cobbler Cheesecake Donuts are a delightful treat combining the flavors of a classic dessert in a donut form. Perfect for brunch or as a sweet snack!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup peaches, chopped
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar for glaze
  • 1-2 tbsp milk for glaze

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  4. Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined. Fold in the chopped peaches.
  5. Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. While the donuts are baking, prepare the cheesecake filling by beating the cream cheese, powdered sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  7. Once the donuts are cool, fill each donut with the cheesecake filling using a piping bag.
  8. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar with enough milk to achieve a pourable consistency and drizzle over the filled donuts.
  9. Let the glaze set before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg to the donut batter.
  • These donuts are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored for a day or two.
