- 6 slices of bread
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup cream cheese
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Flatten each slice of bread with a rolling pin.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Spread cream cheese mixture on each slice of bread.
- Roll the bread tightly and dip into egg mixture.
- Cook in a skillet with melted butter until golden brown.
- Coat with cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Serve warm with syrup.
Notes
- For extra sweetness, add more powdered sugar on top.
