- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 12 ounces chicken sausage, sliced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add sliced chicken sausage and cook until browned.
- Add broccoli florets and sauté for 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in orzo pasta, chicken broth, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, or until orzo is tender and liquid is absorbed.
- Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.
- Serve warm.

- For a spicy kick, use spicy chicken sausage.
