  • 12 oz penne pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta until al dente and reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water.
  2. Brown ground beef in a skillet, drain grease, and set aside.
  3. Melt butter in the skillet and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Season with Italian seasoning, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir in cooked beef.
  5. Add heavy cream and cheeses. Stir until melted and smooth. Adjust consistency with reserved pasta water.
  6. Toss cooked pasta into the sauce. Garnish with parsley and serve.
