Description

This Cheesy Hamburger Potato Casserole is a comforting dish that brings together delicious flavors and satisfying textures.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef and onion over medium heat until the beef is cooked through.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Layer half of the potatoes in a greased baking dish. Spread half of the meat mixture over the potatoes, then half of the cheese. Repeat layers, ending with cheese on top.
  5. Pour the soup mixture over the layers in the baking dish.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes, or until potatoes are tender and cheese is bubbly.
