- 4 medium zucchinis
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 6 strips turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the zucchinis in half lengthwise and scoop out some of the flesh to create space for the filling.
- In a bowl, combine the mozzarella, Parmesan, turkey bacon, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Fill the zucchini halves with the cheese and turkey bacon mixture.
- Place the stuffed zucchinis on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, sprinkle some red pepper flakes on top before baking.
- Feel free to substitute any other type of cheese.
