Description

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Stir in cocoa, flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined. Spread ¾ of the brownie batter in the pan.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth. Pour over the brownie layer.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of the remaining brownie batter on top and swirl with a knife for a marbled look.
  5. Bake for 30–35 minutes until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.
  6. Cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares.
