- 1 package puff pastry sheets
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 4 strips turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground turkey over medium heat until browned. Add in the chopped turkey bacon and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface and cut them into squares.
- Place a spoonful of the turkey mixture in the center of each pastry square.
- Fold the pastry over to form a triangle and seal the edges with a fork.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add some diced jalapeños to the turkey mixture.
