- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 slices bread
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup pickles, diced
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup mustard
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef with onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until browned.
- In a baking dish, layer half of the bread, half of the cooked ground beef, half of the cheddar cheese, and half of the mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat the layers, finishing with a layer of cheese on top.
- Mix the pickles, ketchup, and mustard in a bowl and spread it over the top layer.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add cooked bacon or diced tomatoes between the layers.
