Description
A festive appetizer of puff pastry filled with melted Brie, sweet cranberries, and crunchy pecans or walnuts. Perfect for the holidays.
Ingredients

- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 8 oz Brie cheese, rind removed and cubed
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp fresh thyme (optional)
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly flour your work surface.
- Roll out puff pastry and cut into 24 squares. Place each square in a mini muffin tin cup.
- Add a cube of Brie into each pastry cup.
- Mix cranberries, nuts, brown sugar, and thyme in a bowl. Add a teaspoon of this mixture on top of each Brie cube.
- Beat the egg with 1 tbsp water and brush the pastry edges.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden and bubbly. Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Use goat cheese for a tangy twist.
- Substitute dried cherries for cranberries if desired.
- These can be made ahead and baked fresh.
