Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • ½ cup milk


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, and melted butter until combined. Press into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in sour cream and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour cream cheese mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
  5. Bake for 60 minutes or until the center is set. Let cool completely.
  6. In a saucepan, heat heavy cream and chocolate chips over low heat until melted and smooth. Pour over the cooled cheesecake.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.

  • For a richer chocolate flavor, use dark cocoa powder.
