This Boston Chocolate Cream Pie Cheesecake is a rich and creamy dessert that combines the flavors of a traditional chocolate cream pie and a classic cheesecake.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar, divided
  • 3 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup whipped cream, for topping


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter; press into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  4. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla.
  5. Pour cheesecake mixture over the crust and bake for 60 minutes.
  6. Once baked, let it cool, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
  7. Prepare the chocolate cream by mixing cocoa powder and chocolate chips with heavy cream until fluffy.
  8. Spread the chocolate cream over the cooled cheesecake.
  9. Top with whipped cream before serving.
