A deliciously easy homemade bourbon chicken recipe that tastes better than takeout!

- 2 pounds chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
- 1/2 cup bourbon
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the bourbon, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger.
- Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Remove chicken from marinade and cook in the skillet until golden brown and cooked through.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with a few tablespoons of the remaining marinade until smooth.
- Add the cornstarch mixture to the skillet and stir until the sauce thickens.
- Serve the bourbon chicken over rice or noodles.

- For extra flavor, let the chicken marinate overnight.
- Adjust the bourbon amount to your taste preference.
