Description

A deliciously creamy and cheesy baked macaroni dish enhanced with turkey bacon and chicken ham for a savory twist.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup chicken ham, chopped
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, whisk in the flour and cook for about 1 minute.
  4. Gradually add the milk, whisking constantly until the mixture thickens.
  5. Stir in the salt, pepper, garlic powder, cheddar, and mozzarella until the cheese is melted and smooth.
  6. Add the cooked macaroni, turkey bacon, and chicken ham to the cheese sauce, stirring to combine.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with breadcrumbs.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and bubbling.
