- 1 cup fresh breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Begin by tenderizing the flank steak and laying it flat.
- In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Spoon the mixture evenly over the steak.
- Roll the steak tightly and secure with toothpicks or kitchen twine.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Brown the braciole on all sides in the skillet.
- Add marinara sauce to the skillet and cover. Simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours until the meat is tender.
- Remove from heat and let rest before slicing.
