Description

Bang Bang Shrimp is a deliciously crispy dish that combines the flavors of shrimp and a creamy spicy sauce, all enhanced by the indulgent twist of turkey bacon.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 strips turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup corn starch
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha
  • 3 green onions, chopped for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, corn starch, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  2. Dredge the shrimp in the flour mixture until well coated.
  3. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, fry the coated shrimp until golden brown and crispy.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and Sriracha.
  6. Toss the crispy shrimp in the sauce and mix until well coated.
  7. Serve topped with crispy bacon and garnished with green onions.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, you can double fry the shrimp.
  • Adjust the level of Sriracha according to your heat preference.
