- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 large eggs
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (e.g., walnuts or pecans)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
- In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add vanilla and mix well.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Fold in the mashed bananas.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly.
- Allow the cheesecake to cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Before serving, drizzle with caramel sauce and sprinkle chopped nuts on top.
