Ingredients
Scale
- 4 slices sourdough bread
- 4 oz brie cheese, sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh blackberries
- 1–2 tsp balsamic glaze
- 2 tsp butter, softened
Instructions
- Butter one side of each bread slice.
- Place brie on the unbuttered side of two slices.
- Add blackberries, slightly smashing them if needed.
- Drizzle balsamic glaze over the berries.
- Top with the other bread slices, buttered side out.
- Heat skillet over medium heat. Grill sandwiches for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Slice and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use goat cheese or mozzarella as a substitute for brie.
- For extra flavor, add fresh thyme or arugula inside the sandwich.
- Don’t rush the grilling—low and slow heat gives the best melt.
