Description

This balsamic blackberry grilled cheese combines creamy brie, sweet blackberries, and tangy balsamic glaze between crispy buttered bread. A sweet-savory twist on the classic grilled cheese that’s perfect for brunch or a cozy lunch.


Ingredients

  • 4 slices sourdough bread
  • 4 oz brie cheese, sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh blackberries
  • 12 tsp balsamic glaze
  • 2 tsp butter, softened


Instructions

  1. Butter one side of each bread slice.
  2. Place brie on the unbuttered side of two slices.
  3. Add blackberries, slightly smashing them if needed.
  4. Drizzle balsamic glaze over the berries.
  5. Top with the other bread slices, buttered side out.
  6. Heat skillet over medium heat. Grill sandwiches for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  7. Slice and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use goat cheese or mozzarella as a substitute for brie.
  • For extra flavor, add fresh thyme or arugula inside the sandwich.
