- 4 chicken breasts
- 8 slices turkey bacon
- 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Take each chicken breast, and cut a pocket into the side.
- Stuff each pocket with asparagus and a tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture.
- Wrap each stuffed chicken breast with turkey bacon.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, and sear the chicken on both sides until golden brown.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken breasts for an hour before stuffing.
