This Amish Peanut Butter Cream Pie is a delightful dessert that combines the rich flavors of peanut butter and cream for a truly homemade taste.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup chopped peanuts (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until well combined. Press into the bottom of a pie dish to form the crust.
  3. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
  4. In another bowl, beat together peanut butter and confectioners’ sugar until smooth.
  5. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  6. Gently fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture until just combined.
  7. Spread the peanut butter cream filling into the cooled crust.
  8. Chill the pie in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
  9. Top with chopped peanuts if desired.
