Description

Air Fryer Honey Garlic Steak Sweet Pepper Bites are juicy, flavorful steak cubes and sweet bell peppers tossed in a sticky honey garlic sauce, all cooked to perfection in the air fryer for a quick and satisfying dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb flank or sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar or rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut steak into evenly sized cubes and season with salt and pepper. Chop bell peppers into similar-sized chunks.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, vinegar, and minced garlic. Stir in cornstarch slurry if using.
  3. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Toss steak and peppers with olive oil and arrange in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 8–10 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  5. Transfer cooked steak and peppers to a bowl and toss with the honey garlic sauce.
  6. Optional: Return coated bites to the air fryer for 1–2 minutes to caramelize.
  7. Garnish with green onions or sesame seeds and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Cut steak and peppers into uniform pieces for even cooking.
  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket—cook in batches if needed.
  • For extra flavor, marinate steak in sauce for 15–30 minutes before cooking.
  • Add chili flakes or hot sauce for a spicy kick.
  • Shrimp or chicken can be used instead of steak—adjust cook times accordingly.
